Even the fact that I make jewelry for business, I bought these cord ends for my personal project. I was looking for something that would make a soft transition between a chain and a suede cord, and these cord ends were perfect for that. A suede cord that is 3 mm by 1 mm fits well (both ends in one). I used the usual glue for jewelry and it sits securely for at least 2 months and I wore my necklace quite often (it was a necklace for my summer vacation). I like the finish of the metal, which is not shiny but also not dull and the shade is exactly like antique bronze should have (not brownish or yellowish like some others). The shape is quite "elegant" and went harmoniously with the chain which has 3 mm links. I'm going to order the same barrels in other finish.
