I'm not sure why in the description these beads are named as Lampwork or Gold Sand beads. These are 100% painted beads. However, they are unusual, I would say unique and very beautiful. Have a good size as well (most used). Also, before using any glass beads to make jewelry, I conduct a "water" test: under running warm water from a faucet with gentle rubbing between the palms. In the past, I had situations when the coating was peeling off. If this happens with a "water" test, then it will definitely happen with skin contact. With this order, all the beads passed the test!!! The color presented on the website is very truthful. They have some sparkles in the pattern somewhere between gold and bronze color and are suitable for both antique gold and antique bronze metal companion. I used them with other beads of the same color (monochromatic) and everything was sold faster than I managed to take decent photos. Only 2 necklaces left from more than 50!!! I will definitely order more .
